Scryfall transcribes non-English cards (also called localized cards) as they were printed, including all translation errors or omissions made by Wizard of the Coast’s translation teams.
Wizards of the Coast does not issue errata for localized cards. Localized card text is a copy of the card’s Oracle text, translated at the time of printing. These texts don’t receive any updates, and the Scryfall team does not attempt to update old localized texts ourselves.
In some cases, Scryfall may not have the localized card text available in our database. In this situation, we don’t display any localized text at all, we display the Oracle text.
