刻印 ― 思考の牢獄が場に出たとき、プレイヤー１人を対象とする。あなたはそのプレイヤーの手札を公開させてもよい。 そうした場合、そこから土地でないカードを１枚選び、それをゲームから取り除く。 （取り除かれたカードは、このアーティファクトに刻印される。）
いずれかのプレイヤーが、刻印されているカードと共通の色か点数でみたマナ・コストを持つ呪文をプレイするたび、思考の牢獄はそのプレイヤーに２点のダメージを与える。
